Your voice is not our product.
Vaitly Limited makes VV. We do not need your recordings to run the company. Standard dictation is processed on the Mac you installed.
Audio may be kept in local history so you can replay or re-transcribe; you can shorten retention or delete entries.
What we do not do
- We do not require an account to dictate.
- We do not upload microphone audio for the default recognition path.
- We do not sell voice data.
- We do not claim SOC 2, HIPAA or ISO 27001 we have not earned.
What can leave the Mac
If you enable a Transform that uses a cloud provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, or similar), the text of that dictation — not a hidden second upload of the WAV — is sent to that provider under their terms. The transform UI labels this as “Sent to …”.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Visiting vvoice.co.uk is not the same as using the app. The app does not phone home to this site to dictate.
