Your own voice
What you said while you showed the task, kept with each step.
Vaitly Guides · Part of Pro · Coming in the next update
Do a task on your screen and talk it through. VV turns every click and every new screen into a step, with a picture, the place to click and your words as the instruction. Play it back with captions and an AI voice, or send it as a PDF, a web page or a video.
Be first to try it
One email when Vaitly Guides arrives in VV, and nothing else. We do not share your address, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
How it works
Choose one window or a whole screen. A thin border shows exactly what is being captured, and it never appears in the pictures.
Work through it as you normally would, explaining as you go. Each click and each new screen becomes a step by itself, with the place you clicked marked.
Your words become each step's instruction. Edit, reorder, crop, add a callout or black out anything private. SmartText can suggest cleaner wording, on your computer.
Play it back full screen with captions, read in your own voice or an AI voice. Or export it as a PDF, a web page or a video.
Play it back
A guide plays like a short film. Each step's picture fills the screen and the captions run along the bottom in large white text on black, lighting up word by word as it is spoken. Space plays and pauses, the arrow keys move between steps.

Ten British and American voices. Play a sample of each, then download the one you like: about 92 MB the first time, half a megabyte for each one after. They speak on your computer.
The voices already on your Mac or PC, with no download at all.
Send it anywhere
Every export asks you to confirm you have reviewed the guide first, and uses only the cleaned-up pictures. Choose an AI voice and the playable guide and the video are read by it, each step lasting as long as its line.
Guides is new and comes with the next update, on the Mac first. MP4 export is Mac only for now. A red border marks the window being captured; VV keeps its own toolbar out of the pictures.
Questions
Yes. Making and editing guides is in Pro, at £9.99 a month or £99 a year. If your plan ends, the guides you made stay on your computer and you can still open and export them.
Guides comes with the next VV update, first on the Mac. Windows follows once it has been tested there. Pro customers get it in the same app, with nothing extra to install.
No. Typed text and the clipboard are never recorded. Keyboard shortcuts are only shown, as key pictures, if you turn that on for a guide.
No. Capture, the step builder, SmartText's wording suggestions and the AI voices all run on your computer. A natural voice is downloaded once, then works offline. Pictures are made safe before export: crops and blacked-out areas are flattened into the image, so the hidden part cannot be recovered from the file.
Yes. From a meeting in Vaitly Meetings, Create guide drafts the steps from what was said. It has no screenshots, because none were taken, and it is marked that way.
A recording makes people scrub through minutes of video to find one step. A guide gives them each step as a picture with its instruction, which they can scan, search, print or follow at their own pace. If they want to watch, they can still play it with captions and a voice.
It looks like you're in the United States. The same app is on vaitlyvoice.com, priced in dollars for the United States.
